Summer Academy Dates & Fees
MPM’s tuition is all inclusive, including daily chamber coachings, daily orchestra and choir rehearsals, weekly private lessons, free access to Artist Chamber Music Series concerts, daily camp activities, and room and board. Port Milford offers a stimulating and nurturing environment where each aspect of the individual experience is given careful thought and attention. We offer the unparalleled student/staff ratio of 2.5 to 1.
25% of the program costs are covered by grants and donations from alumni, friends of MPM, local businesses and corporations.
Dates and Tuition
Senior Chamber Academy for Strings and Piano, ages 13-19:
July 13 - August 3, 2025
$3390 CAD ($1130/wk) - International students $2880 USD ($960/wk)
Junior Chamber Academy for Strings and Piano, ages 10-13:
July 6 - July 12, 2025
$1250 CAD - International students $1000 USD
Early applications due March 1, 2025. Late applications considered on a rolling basis as space allows.
Discounts
Senior Session Early Applicants: $200 tuition discount for applications received by March 1, 2025.
Junior Session Early Applicants: $75 tuition discount for applications received by March 1, 2025.
Siblings: 10% tuition discount for 2nd child in family.
Payment Timeline
Separate from Tuition fees, all applications must include a non-refundable $60 registration fee.
1 week after acceptance: Financial aid applications due for families with demonstrable financial need (see below).
2 weeks after acceptance: deposit due to hold your place.
(Senior Academy only) May 1st: 50% of tuition balance due.
June 1st: Final tuition balance due.
Cancelation Policy
In the event of student cancellation:
Non-refundable $60 registration fee and initial deposit is withheld.
After May 1st, 50% of additional tuition payments are withheld.
After June 1st, 100% of tuition payments are withheld.
Financial Aid
Music at Port Milford is committed to keeping costs as low as possible without compromising the quality of our program. It is integral to our mission that all deserving young musicians be given the opportunity to attend MPM regardless of financial means. Financial aid is available with proof of need.
The financial aid application is due within one week of acceptance into the program.
