Summer Academy Dates & Fees

MPM’s tuition is all inclusive, including daily chamber coachings, daily orchestra and choir rehearsals, weekly private lessons, free access to Artist Chamber Music Series concerts, daily camp activities, and room and board. Port Milford offers a stimulating and nurturing environment where each aspect of the individual experience is given careful thought and attention. We offer the unparalleled student/staff ratio of 2.5 to 1.

35% of the program costs are covered by grants and donations from alumni, friends of MPM, local businesses and corporations. Additional financial aid is provided on a rolling basis for families with demonstrable financial need.

Dates and Tuition
Senior Chamber Academy for Strings and Piano, ages 13-19:
July 12 - August 2, 2026
$3420 CAD - International students $2910 USD
Early Bird: $200 discount for applications received by March 1, 2026.

Junior Chamber Academy for Strings and Piano, ages 10-13:
July 5 - July 11, 2026
$1275 CAD - International students $1000 USD
Early Bird: $75 discount for applications received by March 1, 2026.

Siblings Discount: 10% tuition discount for 2nd child in family.
Friend Referral: 5% tuition discount for both returning student and referred new student after acceptances and submission of tuition deposits.

Payment Timeline

  • Separate from Tuition fees, applications for new students must include a non-refundable $60 registration fee.

  • 1 week after acceptance: Financial aid applications due for families with demonstrable financial need (see below).

  • 2 weeks after acceptance: Tuition deposit due to hold your place.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of student cancellation:

  • Non-refundable $60 registration fee and initial deposit is withheld.

  • After May 1st, 50% of additional tuition payments are withheld.

  • After June 1st, 100% of tuition payments are withheld.

Financial Aid
Music at Port Milford is committed to keeping costs as low as possible without compromising the quality of our program. It is integral to our mission that all deserving young musicians be given the opportunity to attend MPM regardless of financial means. Financial aid is available with proof of need.

The financial aid application is due within one week of acceptance into the program. Applications are evaluated on a rolling basis, with priority given to applications received before April 1st. Available funding is typically exhausted by May 1st of the application year.
