Chamber Music Academy
For 40 summers, Music at Port Milford has offered an immersive chamber music program for dedicated music students in Prince Edward County, Ontario. Students, who are admitted by audition, work together to produce weekly performances of chamber, orchestral and choral works. MPM’s outstanding faculty and resident ensembles serve as both coaches and mentors. While preparing for performances, students work cooperatively and form lifelong friendships. The summer camp is located on an historic thirty-five acre farm overlooking South Bay. Students are housed in charming cabins with supervising counselors, and have classes in the 1860s farmhouse and barn.
Artist Chamber Music Series
Music at Port Milford proudly presents its esteemed faculty artists in creatively programmed chamber music concerts in July and August in the heart of Prince Edward County. Past performers include the Thalea String Quartet, Tokai String Quartet, Afiara String Quartet, Ensemble Made in Canada, Quatuor Saguenay, Linden String Quartet, and more.
