Port Milford Artist Residency 2025
Session 1: August 7 - August 12
Session 2: August 12 - August 17
Join us for 5 days of focused work, family meals, lake swims & art shares in Prince Edward County Ontario!
Contact Charlotte Hill (charlotte.mpmcamp@gmail.com), Zoë Santo (zoesanto@aol.com), or Danny Mendelson (dannymendelson97@gmail.com) with any questions.
Where:
89 Colliers Rd, Milford, Ontario, K0K 2P0
This is the campus of Music at Port Milford, a chamber music camp that runs in July. There is an 1860s farmhouse, barn, and various cabins, all perched along South Bay, an inlet of Lake Ontario.
Who:
Based on available sleeping and work spaces, each session can accommodate 14 participants. Returning artists can hold their spot by indicating attendance by May 1st and sending in a deposit by May 15th. New applicants will be considered on a rolling basis as space allows.
Charlotte Hill, Zoë Santo, and Danny Mendelson are the organizers and point people for any questions! We will be in attendance for both sessions and working on various projects.
What:
All projects are welcome, as long as everyone comes with clear intentions for their time. There are 20 hours of work time built into a session’s schedule. Both the returning registration form and new participant application include space to write 50-100 words about your hopes and dreams for your stay. We expect there will be pivots and exploration along the way, but will find it helpful to know your plan in broad strokes!
