This Saturday, Violinist Lisa Ueda, Former Music at Port Milford Student, Joins Pianist Daniele Rinaldo on Stage to Perform "War and Japan - A Musical Journey"

In The UK?! This Saturday evening, March 4th, award winning violinist Lisa Ueda will take the stage at College Chapel in London, with pianist Daniele Rinaldo to explore questions of war through music in the event "War and Japan - A Musical Journey."

This concert, co hosted by by the Kings Japan Programme and the Arts & Conflict Hub in the Department of War Studies, seeks to engage with such questions as "Is there a universal way to look at the tragedy of war? and What are the expressions of war in the contemporary world?" through repertoire that explores the relationship between Japanese and European musical aesthetics that consolidated in the first half of the 20th century.
